A recorded trail of my life for those I love — down the roads that shaped who I became.

Work Sites: Rogersville and John Sevier

I claim this town in the name of me!

Riding to the next site I happened upon a town I adopted immediately. Rogersville Tennessee!

Now I wanted to spend more time here but I had a number of sites to yet see so I had to see my fire, my police department, my park, and my town hall. J

[ ](/assets/blog-images/IMG_1874.JPEG_Ok enough of that rubbish. On to the reason I am here. Sites!

John Sevier. I have two actually, three different perspectives of John Sevier. On one hand when riding up to it I had no Idea it used to be a coal plant. I actually found an image of what it looked like when it was coal.

It is now a natural gas powered plant. The coal vs gas debate can be had at another time, I simply found that back story interesting.

The scenery soundings were incredible and then the ride into the plant was quite impressive with the stainless steel smoke stacks.

A little behind the scenes honesty. I had read up on John Sevier and had learned it had a small weir dam associated with it when it was a coal plant. I scoped out where it was and was determined to get as close as I could. And while I was closer than I am now writing this. I did not get as close as I would have liked. But I tried!

The ride into the plant was amazing, I caught some of it on video.

Now back to reality, this is one of 7 sites to see today so no lollygagging! On to the next! But before you go.. Check out these sites! and this flyover!
