Gallatin Combustion / Tennessee / Fossil

I will be honest. By the time I got to Gallatin my mind was thinking about home. While still a 90 minute ride I was already there. To my defense I had been riding hours in 90°, I was beat. But I had a job to do, so on I trudged, through plant and even stopped in a secluded 'park' with a very old cemetery.

This is the first site I visited that has both Fossil and Combustion on the same land. I like the concept! The original turbines were the first of their kind when put in, while the later 4 are now considered the best of the best in the world. Pretty neat concept, sustained power with the fossil and immediate power with the combustion side. OK so I'm hiding from the sun, You would too if you were fully cooked!
