Work Sites Trip 2 P3. Kingston
Kingston Fossil
For the record I knew very little about Kingston’s history when I visited. I had an Idea there was a spill in the area, but I didn’t know it was ‘that spill’. So with that in mind. I am riding my bike into the town of Kingston I was struck with how beautiful it was. Lots of clean river front. Yet another time I wished I’d have taken my fishing gear. I had seen where we were going to make a new facility in the area so I wanted to see how close to the construction I could get. For the record, the first gate. I mean the officer was kind and we had a co-worker chat and all but he kindly advised me, if I kept going there is a good chance I might stumble into an area I shouldn’t be so best if I just pull a U-ee and enjoy my day. I was with him on that mindset and off I went. I do regret not taking the opportunity to ride to the park. (Old spill site) If I am in that area again I will be doing that. With my fishing gear. Anyway, the final destination on the second work site trip and it was as impressive as the last 2. And from here it was back to reality. Which at the time of the trip wasn’t a very good reality.
